Nordex N117/2400 Wind Turbine

Description

The N117/2400 is designed for inland sites. With a rotor diameter of 117 meters and a repainted over rotor area of 10.715 square meters, the plant is the profitable IEC-3 turbine of class. The N117/2400 comes in typical inland locations on over 3,500 full-load hours and surpasses other plants of their category to 20 percent as a result. The capacity factor is 40 percent. So, Nordex customers with the N117/2400 in regions can ensure a high, continuous electricity production with lighter wind. The sound power level is at maximum 105 decibels, so can be the plant built closer to residential areas and spatially optimally designed a wind park. Also, the criterion of the building height restriction takes into account the N117/2400: on the standard Tower of 91 meters remains the system under the critical total construction height of 150 meters.
