The C-40 are appropriate for larger systems, and can be used either as either a charge or load controller. The Xantrex C-40 and C-60 include adjustable set points, over current protection and manual or auto equalize mode. The DVM (Digital Voltage Meter) option adds a digital display of battery voltage, charge current and cumulative amp hours from the solar array. The optional BTS (Battery Temperature Sensor) adds temperature compensation to any of these regulators.
