Ropatec SA40 10kW Wind Turbine
Product Description
Ropatec SA40 10kW Wind Turbine – this is an independent review for Ropatec SA40 10kW Wind Turbine we have compiled for your reference. Feel free to add your comments or experiences at the bottom of the page.
The overall dimensions of the aerodynamic and electromechanical parts of the machine enable 10 kW power delivery. The surface of 39.9 m2 enables the generation of 15,700 kWh of energy per year with an average wind speed of 5.5 m/s. Furthermore, the turbine’s small size significantly reduces its visual impact making it an ideal power generator for particularly windy sites. Due to the drastic reduction of components and the use of new production techniques, the turbine can be mounted within a day. The turbine is equipped with a system adjusting power curve in line with the relevant wind characteristics. Thus, a tailor-made performance can be achieved, e.g. a power curve can be adjusted to better exploit both low-wind (<4-5 m/s) and strong-wind (>5 m/s) sites.
The installation of an electric brake enables the definitive control of the turbine speed limit, beyond which the probability of wind currents useful for electricity generation becomes irrelevant. In addition, the turbine is equipped with a system of mechanical rotor retention (disc brake), which serves both as an auxiliary tool for the electric brake system, and for complete disconnection of the turbine from the electrical system (e.g. in case of power failure or accidental interruption of the connection between the generator and the frameworks) ensuring thereby a maximum safety level. Everything is under control! The remote monitoring system allows to interact with real-time production data of the turbine. Low maintenance costs and system stability (30 years of the minimum calculated life cycle) turns Ropatec Ropatec SA40 10kW Wind Turbine into a real guarantee for your future.
| Blade diameterBlade diameter is an important thing to look at when comparing turbines, since it effects how much power can be captured from the wind. This turbine has a blade diameter of 7.00 metres. | |||
